Help,tiny,tiny,red bugs all over flowers.?

Question

I have thousands of the tiny super red bugs eating all the flowers and buds of my false sunflowers, been here 20 years and never seen these bugs before.So far only on mentioned flowers and I have a lot of flower beds and when you touch barely touch them they break and it almost looks like blood. What can I use to get rid of them?

Try your vaccum hose

You need to get a bug killer. I use the product called Seven, it will kill them on the spot. Or even Ortho Max Bug killer will work. I think you have spider mites and they will kill your entire plant and move onto the next if you dont take action soon.

Ah you have spider mites. They are evil.  There are alot of insecticides on the market that will kill them. If you are concerned about using chemicals they do make stuff that kills these bugs that is made from soap and stuff that won't harm the environment. My advice would be to go the chemical route. Get some Sevin at the local home center and kill those little buggers.
