i am trying to tackle this myself. any input would be greatly appreciated. not very old 42" Vizio P42 EDTV - they say is plasma but ooks like lcd to me. just out of warranty - now has black screen - BUMMED .... i have sound and can change channels - but no picture no on screen instructions no snow. :-(
