Help.. 16th birthday party?

well im having my 16th birthday party at a hall.. its not very nice but i really want to wear like a nice dress but i dont know if its suitable for the enviroment. also does anyone know what i could do besides listen to music? about 20 people are going to be there. boy and girl birthday party

i'd say make sure you've got some great songs to dance to!!! You'd be surprized how well the electric slide goes over....just not at house parties haha.

you could limbo....

i'd say forget the dress and be comfortable... a favorite pair of jeans and a shirt that makes you feel pretty would be great

Put all your baby and school pictures on a see through glass table, also if you have your baby dedication outfit go to the store and buy spray starch and spray the outfit and it will be stiff and ready for display(you can later wash it and will go back to the way it was). You could also have your pastor or priest speak a few words of wisdom for you and your friends for the coming years. I hope this helps some!!!

For a dress...You should get somthing that flares around, you knw, like a dance-able dress. Yet, make sure its elegant too!

and aside from listening to music, you should have everyone do a certain dance. like the cupid shuffle or sumtin. maybe you could also make a video slide show from the day you were born till now...and what lies ahead for your future.

some other idea is have a chocolate fountain and have strawberries and marshmellows for everyone to dip into the chocolate. have a balloon popping game, where when you pop a balloon, you can get a super huge pack of gum.

if you are going for a theme party, i suggest a beach theme or candy theme. That way its more fun, and you can come up with cute decorations!
