  1. Surprised they let you leave with contacts.....usually if you cannot put them in your eye s by yourself..they will not selll them to you...

    Just takes practice sweetie....keep trying..you'll get it..HUGS!!

Try putting it in the corner of your eye, near your nose....then you don't freak out your eye ball....then close eye and slide into place...

  2. Well you are certainly going to have to get over the eye thing. You really do need to be able to touch your eye in order to use contacts. My advice, which actually works, is when you actually have touched your contact to the eye, let go of your bottom eyelid first. Every time i tried to put my contact in when I first got them, it would fall out or stay on my finger. Once I started letting go of the bottom eyelid first, they went it perfectly easily.

  3. it took me five times to get them in.  i know it takes forever!!!  but, it really does get easier.  you should put a single drop of water on your finger, and then try to put in your eye as you would a contact.  or, it it's the natural instinct to blink, you should look up into the corner of your eye (towards your nose) and then put the drop of water, or even the contact in.  It makes it so you cannot see the object come so close you your eye.  with a contact, it will slide to the right spot in your eye when you blink.  good luck!!

  4. i first got contacts in 6th grade.. it used to take me half an hour to get them in every morning, so i stopped using them. but when 8th grade came around i tried it again. its just a lot of practice!! this is my method:

lets say its my right eye.

my left hand goes over my head and holds open the upper eyelid

the contact goes on my right hand's pointer finger, and my middle finger holds open the bottom eyelid

slowly place the contact on your eye and then look around and then blink

the more your eye gets used to being touched the easier it will be..

maybe try putting in eye drops to get used to holding your eye open and putting stuff in it

  5. Relax your eye. The first time i wore contact lenses it took me forever because i blinked all the time. Just know that you have to clean the lense after a couple tries since it gets dirty and that will irritate your eye.  use one like this to clean it: http://www.bausch.com/en_US/consumer/vis...

    1) wash your hands

    2) put contact lense should go on the tip of your finger

    3) put your head back

    4) use the unused hand to open eye right before putting contact in (dont keep it open for long, that will irritate eye and make your eye cry)

    5) and then just put contact lense in... then u can blink... dont blink when putting on, blink after. It shouldn't come off.

Practice until u get it in but not too many times. You may do too much irritation, until u learn keep on wearing glasses.

    I hope i helped.
