Rock band will cover you singing and guitar playing and more. For adventure or roaming I would suggest Grand Theft Auto 4.

If by adventure games, you mean Role Playing Games (RPGs), then some good games are Oblivion,  Eternal Sonata, Dark Sector, Lost Odyessy, to name a few.

For music/dancing games, Rock Band & Guitar Hero 3 are both great, though the former is a bit pricey. For dancing, you can't really go wrong with DDR (Dance Dance Revolution).

Before you buy, make sure to check out the back of the game case and ready any info/description provided, it should give you some insight into what the game is. If there isn't any info to read, ask around at the game/electronics section at the store.
