  1. Has he seen any scary movies or read any scary books?  Think hard about that too, because remember, even if it didn't seem scary to you if could have terrified him, he is young.

  2. I am sorry that your son is having nightmares...Has he watched anything scary lately or has he heard or read something that is still weighing on his mind...???? At his age at school sometimes the kids talk about scary movies and such...I know because I have a 10 year old. But, if you really feel there is no reason for his nightmares, be sure that he watches or listens to something very calming before bedtime. Maybe you could take turns reading a story together...Get him laughing and giggling and have him count his blessings. Thinking about all of the things that he is thankful for will put him in a happy frame of mind or talking about something fun coming up that you can do together will allso help. Anything to get him in a very calm and relaxed mood before he goes to sleep will be helpful...Good luck to you both.....((((((Hugs & Sweet Dreams)))))...Linda

  3. Tell him that Jesus is always with him where ever he goes. And no matter where ever he is, Jesus is there beside him, to talk to him, and to hold his hand, and to love him, no matter what happens. Jesus Loves You No Matter What. He is always next  to you. Talk to Him when you are afraid. Talk to Him. Talk to Him.

  4. I'd say you have to find the source of the problem before being able to solve it.  Try to find out if he saw any horror movies involving vampires, and reassure him about him. I remember how hard it was back when i was 11 to make the difference sometimes between stories and reality even if I knew it wasn't real.
