Help ASAP Rat Trouble!!!!!!!!!?

Question

Well i have a beautiful boy rat only about 6 months old, and he sounds like he has a stuffy nose, he will sneeze sometimes and it will stop from being stuffy and then about 30 min. later it comes back, my other rats dont have this prob. just my baby boy. please help me figure this out!!

sydney, your best bet is to bring him to the vet but i sounds like a cold

Sounds like an upper respiratory problem. tetryclcline worked for me. I got it at a pet store. It was for birds but it worked for my rat.

i think you should take him to  a docter. cause once it had a friend who had a rat that died because of a cold.

he might just have a cold, for now I would just wait but if it continues for too long or he gets lathargic, eats less or worse then take him to a vet. my rat had that and got better after a week or so.

Why is your poor little boy alone? Rats are too social to keep alone, please get him a male friend.

You need to take him to see a small animal vet if he's having respiratory problems.

he probably has a cold. keep an eye for it and if it gets worse take him to the vet. you can also give him strawberries because they are natural antibiotics for rats and help with their immune system. Unfortunately, respitory problems are very common in rats and colds are very contageous. you can even give your rat a cold! you may want to quarantine the rat so you other rats do not get it.
