Help. An Idiot at my work pressed the bluetooth button on the bottom of my bluetooth mouse and now

An Idiot at my work pressed the bluetooth button on the bottom of my bluetooth mouse and now the mouse doesn't work. I called a computer company to help me and they told me to press the keyboard bluetooth button..even though the keyboard was working fine! I;ve done that and now both the keyboard and mouse arn't working......HELP!!!
