I love ancient egypt very much (some of my friends call me an egyptian-freak). I want to make a blog or a web about Egypt.

Please help me to find the topics that I must put in the web.

Also please tell me about the newest excavation in Egypt (hehe)

  1. I am a fellow "Egypt Freak".

    1. Find a period of time that interests people about Egypt.  For example, as important as trading with Nubia (in between the times of warring with them) are, a better time period to talk about may be either the Old Kingdom with the Pyramids, or the New Kindom's 18th and 19th dynasties-the golden age of Ancient Egypt with Pharohs such as the famous King Tutankhamen (aka King Tut), his heretical father, Akhenaten/Amenhotep III or the powerful Rameses the Great or Rameses II.

    2. The latest big excavation (not in size but mystery) is the searching of the tunnel of the Great Pyramid of Khufu.  They hit a dead end last year, but Zahi Hawas (the head hancho of Egyptology) vowed to return to see what was behind the narrow passage way.  Perhaps treasure greater than that of King Tut?

  2. The best site for a website blog is blogger.com!

I think a fantastic topic would be hieroglyphics and papyrus.

You could go into the EXTREME detail of the Ancient Egyptian's and their use for the first paper on earth, and the hieroglyphic symbols and what they stand for.

And not only that, however another topic of Ancient Egypt that interets not only the very young but very old, are the pyramids. The Ancient Pyramids at Giza are fantastic (I've been there :P) and they seem to interest most people I've met. They are an Ancient Wonder. Not only pyramids, however you could discuss ancient burials in Egypt and rituals and God's.

    Hope this helped!

P.S. - In case you didn't notice, I'm an Ancient Egyptian freak like you :P I love OSIRIS!
