  1. Try leaving out some uncooked grits, the ants bring it back to the nest and eat it. The grits will swell up when the ants eat it and kill them.

  2. Put a line on cinnamon around where they enter and/or the main destinations (food cabinet etc), ants breath through their skin and cinnamon will prevent them from breathing and they will out of instinct leave or avoid any cinnamon, be careful because they will look for alternate routes so watch for new trails and stop them, cinnamon is easy to clean up. Call an exterminator, also they have traps similar to roach motels that will attract and kill them.

  3. i never heard of that but clean spray them with bug spray or any cleaning products both will kill them. and them up and clean your kitchen and dont leave any food out and if they keep coming get your house sprayed

  4. Terro, if you're looking for a particular brand.

I grew up on a farm, and the few times we did have ant problems, that stuff worked.

If you have pets, don't get the liquid kind you leave on the cardboard squares. The other ways of leaving it out are just as effective, but less accessible to curious pets.

Whichever kind you go with, make sure it's one that gets brought back to the colony. That's how you get them at the source.

    Good luck.

  5. ant spray

  6. you can go to the hardware store or whatever and buy ant killer. that what my mom does. they're like these little contraption things (I don't know how to describe them, haha) but the ants crawl inside them and eat the poison. and then you just throw them away, so you're not looking at dead ants all the time.
