Help! Any good books?

Okay, so I'm someone who LOVES reading, and I have a couple of books in my posession, but it's just not enough for me. Can someone recomend as many good books you can think of?

Not like the book "Cut", because those types really don't help all that much with what I'm aiming for.

The story: If I'm going to get through High School in one piece, I need some distractions.

Please tell me a few recommendations; It doesn't matter if they're too long or too hard or complicated... doesn't really matter.

If you have any recommendations on:

-Fictional Novels

-Classic Literature

-Modern Novels and literature

-Any other good reads you can think of

So basically, my question is: Does anyone know about any good books? Fictional Novels are my Fav's btw. (Aliens, mermaids, vampires, romance etc.)

As many suggestions you can think of are welcome, I can read up to 9 chapter books in a week (Clearly, I need to get a life) <-- Oh well :)
