Help: Bullmastiff Owners - Can you tell me about the Female -?

Question

Bull mastiffs please. There Character - Temperament - Guarding ability etc. I have read all the sites but they only generalize and I want honest answers from the people who own them. I want to get a Bull mastiff ( Female ) and need to understand them from YOUR point of view and not the limited info you get on the sites like dog breed info etc. Can you please help me. Thank You. I want to make a valid, informed choice before deciding on the breed. Again, thank you.

I've owned several adult bullmastiff females, and each of them are dynamic.  They are just as individual as people are.  The temeperment of each of mine was seemingly perfect.  They were always friendly.  They didn't begin really guarding until around 2.5 years of age.  As adults, I've found that the females have a very low tolerance of other females that they didn't grow up with. email me with any other specific questions you may have
