Question:

Help!! Cadet Parade Shoes

Well i've been bulling the toe caps of my parade shoes for cadets..but i think i've over polished them because the polish has gone dull, instead of a mirror like shine.

Does anyone know a way how i can make them shiny again without having to strip the polish?

No cheats like furniture polish tho.

  1. Less is more, except when it comes to elbow grease...  however, you could use a high grit silicon sandpaper, 1000 grit or higher, scuff them gently to remove damaged topcoat , reapply  edge dressing/leather dressing LIGHTLY (skip this step if you are time constrained), and start over, using less polish, and more alcohol instead of water, then buff, buff, buff.... and buff, buff, buff...
