Help Can someone explain this??

Science may have found a cure for evil, but it has no remedy for the worst of them all_the apathy of human beings. Helen Keller. What does this mean???

To me it means that science has given us the answer to some things, but it has taken our spiritual integrity. Evolution, medicine, and others have give us the priviledge to live better, but it has taken away our some of our beliefs, is that a deal? Whether it's worth it or not, that's for everybody to decide on their own.

To me it means that apathy is worse than evil deeds.  In other words people who don't care about bad things happening are as bad or worse as the people doing the bad things.
