Help Choosing digital Camera?

Question

I am trying to buy a new digital camera, but I was hoping to hear some experiences good or bad, or just general opinions from some people with these cameras.

Or just some general advice.

Right now I think I'm deciding between the three following cameras:

1) Casio Exilim 8.1MP

2) Sony Cyber-shot 8.1MP

or 3) Nikon CoolPix S550 10 MP

The Nikon uses a lithium ion battery, which is good.  It also has a 5X optical zoom, which would be fun to play with.  What's really cool is that it has a time lapse movie mode.  It will shoot up to 1800 pictures as close together as 30 seconds apart.    You'll have to tell me the model numbers of the other two if you want my opinions about them.

not familier with models mentioned but general rules would be to go for one that has very short "dead time" between shots,go for the highest pixels you can afford. I have a Cannon, a few years old now but still comrares favorably with whats on offer today.Enjoy
