  1. well u could either

    a) be alergic to chlorine

    b) have a badsunburn

    c) there could have been a differet type of chemical in the pool that you are allergic to

i would check with your doctor

    they can reccomend some soap

  2. I've never heard of any skin becoming really dark after a swim, my thinking is that you were swimming in an outdoor swimming pool and you didn't use sunscreen on your face or something like that. Chlorine is a skin irritant with a NFPA 704 rating of 2 (those tilted squares with red, blue, yellow and blank squares inside, the blue is irritant level) but it won't make your skin become a darker color. I've only heard of substances with NFPA 704 ratings of 4 for irritation cause the skin to change color on a large scale like you're describing but it sounds like you've just got a bad case of sunburn.

  3. I never heard of clorine makes skin darker. Usually skins get darker because of sunburn.

Try to consult a skin doctor, you might allergy to clorine.

  4. If this is a private pool, yours, you can make some simple investments that will practically do away with the need for chlorine.

I have one on mine. If you have a drill and a screwdriver you can install it. About 10 minutes.
