  1. Some pit bulls are very aggressive. I suggeest getting him very big toys that you don't mind getting pulled apart. Shut all the doors in the house. And if you go back and it's worse yell at him and take away things he likes, don't give him treats, and do not hit him.

Make sure when you yell that your hands aren't near his mouth, even if it hasn't happened before, he could bite.

  2. Read up on "Nothing in Life is Free" or "NILF" - it's a training method that works wonders for dogs who think they are the pack leader.

  3. Dogs tearing things up and being destructive is a sign of being bored and frustrated. My parents old dog used to do this. You can keep him in an area that's been dog proofed by using gates for when you're out. My dog stays in the kitchen while we're out (floors cleared out, non-dog safe materials removed) Before you leave, take him for a good run to tire him out. You should be leaving a happy, panting pup when you leave. Also, I found a Kong ball with peanut butter or cheeze whiz can give him something to do for a while.

Don't yell at the dog. Shouting will get the dog more revved up, and could lead to him being aggressive towards you. It's probably not a case of thinking you're not the boss. If you are worried about that, however, you may want to seek help from a professional trainer, as trying to topple a dog's alpha status can result in hostility.

  4. EASY ANSWER

KEEP HIM IN THE BACKYARD OR A CRATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE IS SIMPLY BORED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE HIM SOME MORE TOYS .. GET A SWING POLE IN THE BACK ...

  5. Lock him in bathroom + use nussle untill your boyfriend comes back

  6. try putting him in a little fenced in play area.something for his crate, toys, water bowl, food dish bowl, etc. until you can figure out how to control his behavior. It isn't the dog's fault. It's the owner. It all depends on how the owner teaches him...
