Help.. Fire in my apartment.

My friends mother lived in this apartment building and today there was a fire on the six floor (where they lived) and it burned the entire 6th floor.. they lost everything.. It was a electrical fire even though its just an apartment is there any company or something that helps people in that situation?

If she has renters insurance that would cover the loss.  If not then she could try and sue those responsable for the fire for the damages.

this question seriously got my panties in a twist a little. I was like "WAIIIT THERE IS A FIRE AND THIS DUDE IS ON YA!?"

Try the Red Cross and county agencies information line. They can at least refer you to other places maybe for help. In WA state on the Eastside of Seattle, we have Hopelink. Also churches are a good starting point also. If she has renters insurance that will help, but her immediate needs can't wait for insurance to kick in. You can call your local Welfare Dept. for referrals as well.
