  1. no not at all, it will be much easier than tubes for you three. bring an ice chest with snacks for the kids, but you already know that. if there is some way that you could practice with the kids before you actually start floating down the river...maybe it would make you and the kids feel better. but really it isn't hard. you will get spoiled.

  2. you mean white water rafting? heh. i've done this a few times. it's great. lots of fun. i went with a rafting company that offered guides in each raft every time. i figured, they knew the rivers, knew what to look for, would take you through the rapids the best, most exciting, fun and safe way. they knew how to paddle so you wouldn't get stuck or flip the boat. the unguided tours are probably more on the milder side. i would think that would be the case just for safety. with the guided tours, they can take you through wilder stuff, class 5 rapids and such. but, really, it's lots of fun. the kids will love it and you won't find it too difficult. you will probably be sore the next day from all the paddling though.

  3. Wait wait wait. Are u going on like a river-rafting raft...big and rubbery....or like a log raft kinda thing?

  4. Don't freak let the water take you.....If you are renting the raft then other people have done the same thing and no one died..or you could not rent that raft.......It will fell VERY unstable at first but just sit down and get you "sea legs" and you can do it
