Help.Games are lagging on my pc?

well i have updated driver for my pc.Also i have installed directX.but still games l**k GTA, IGI 2 are lagging.i have re installed xp also.pls tell me any soft that will help me for the same.i m using xp.

And pls dont say change u r pc or improve u r ram or put more ram etc

Turn the graphics settings down... In game in mean...

tune your os, make sure the disk is defragged, close all other applications, make sure xp is set for performance, turn off indexing more below
