Help.....Go cart trouble ,engine like cuts...................?

Well its not really a go-cart, its more like a dune buggy.It starts up fine.then you can do 1 lap and then it stalls out ,it wont start unless you push it.then try it.Then it does all over again..Help

What kind of engine is it?

Like a V-Twin from a motorbike?.. or a little 4 cylinder from a VW?... or a little two stroke Honda  lawnmower engine?

Engines need 2 things to run.

1. Fuel, 2. Ignition. One or the other is probably your cause.

If it's an aircooled engine, it also needs cooling air. If it's totally shut in, it WILL overheat.

It could be many different things. Check for loose wires(specifically a black wire) or depending on the on/off switch is, replace that. I had a go cart when I was younger and it would just die after a couple minutes. The cure was replacing the switch... I hope that helped! God bless!
