I'm going this weekend to Universal Studios in L.A I want to make sure I take enough $$$. I wanted to buy a "All You Can Eat Pass", how do they know when you share with other people??? I know it's going to be really crowded this weekend, so how can they monitor that. My question is I don't want to buy 2 passes should I buy 1 pass and share with my husband??, I want to know how the passes work, Is the food really expensive if I don't buy the pass. Please advise from those who have used the "All You Can Eat Pass" and I know beverages are excluded from the pass. Please Help I need to buy them today if I have to. Thank you so much!

  1. I was there in February and I decided not to get the pass. The reason being is I didn't want to eat there more than once - in which case it isn't a value since you have to purchase drinks anyway.

That aside, I don't feel comfortable with helping someone game the system. What I think you should do is buy one all-you-can-eat (for your husband, assuming he eats more than you) and that would allow you to buy something that is not on the all-you-can-eat menu and if he can't finish his cookie you don't need to let it go to waste.

  2. The AYCE pass is a value for teens, but not many other people. The quality of the food is really poor. I think its a ripoff. But then, your post is pretty dishonest, too, trying to essentially get something you didn't pay for and aren't entitled to. I believe it's still called theft, even in California.

My advice is to eat minimally in the park. There are literally dozens of good places at City Walk.
