Please . And please don't say, 'oh, you'll be grateful for your youth when you get older.' I want to be able to go out with guys my age without looking like a freak. No one will go out with me anyway, who is my age. I've spent countless hours in front of the mirror, trying to make my makeup look good. But it just never works! And I like punk rock, so I'm not a preppy girl or anything. I have really short hair, so only give me makeup solutions. please. I already wear tight clothes that show my scant scaint figure. Please help me! MAKEUP EXPERTS HELP ME! Please I'm begging you. I don't know how much more I can take.

  1. I agree with some of the other answer's! Its not as much in the make-up as in the hair Try playing with your color. Eyeliner will do wonders though! You should post a picture! :)

  2. Makeup will not make you look older. If anything it might make you look younger because young girls pile on the makeup because they want to look older but it just looks like they are trying to hard. I have the same problem! I am 18 and look like I am 12. Try wearing more sophisticated clothing and stay away from clothes that might l;ook babyish or kidish.

As far as makeup help...its all about the natural look these days! A little blush, mascara and lip gloss and your good!

PS: what does scant scant mean?? lol

  3. well what you want to do is straiten your  hair get some layers and part your hair to the side then wear like a purple or blue eyeliner with mascara and lipgloss also if you have sandy blond hair dye it chocolate brown if you have blond hair dont o anything wear some clothes that complement your shape and wear heels sometimes.

  4. Alright- you should start off by going to a makeup counter in the mall which can usually be found in department stores and such. Ask one of the individuals working to find you a foundation that matches your skin tone, this way you won't risk choosing the wrong foundation shade by trying to find the correct shade yourself. I would also suggest that you purchase a primer which should be applied before you put on foundation- it'll smooth out your skin and the foundation will glide on much easier. Smashbox photo finish primer is a great option, I'd suggest you purchase that. Also, it is best for you to moisturize your skin prior to foundation application as that will give you the best results =] If you have oily skin, then once you've completed foundation you should use facial powder to eliminate the appearance of a "shiny" face- you'll usually need to apply the powder to your t-zone which consists of the bridge of your nose and branching outwards from the middle of your forehead. Another thing that will make a huge difference would be eyebrows- make sure to get them waxed for starters if they aren't already. Once they have a great, clean shape- you can use eyebrow powder to fill in any sparse areas. I would like to stress eyebrow POWDER, I'm not a huge fan of eyebrow pencils as they can make the eyebrow look unnatural. If you have a Sephora near by, I would go into Sephora and purchase an Anastacia eyebrow kit which come with stencils which will definitely help you achieve the shape that you wish for. Other then that, I wouldn't go overboard on eye makeup- if you wish to look older then keep your eye makeup minimal and simplistic. Soft brown eyeshadow hues will be best, apply a light cream shade over each lid and then apply a shade or two darker eyeshadow colour in the crease of each lid- it'll add depth to your eyes and make them stand out. I would go with a dark mocha brown eyeliner as it won't be as harsh as black and will look natural and will also make you appear older. Dark brown or soft black mascara and curl your lashes, as for your lips- try a nude lipstick and a nude lipgloss overtop. MAC c-thru lipglass is a great nude lipgloss and if you stop by MAC you can ask them for nude lipstick suggestions, their employees are always extremely helpful if you have any other questions as well. Oh and if you're going out for a night on the town or whatever, try some false eyelashes ;-) I would splurge and purchase a nice, natural pair from MAC. Other then makeup; you could wear heels and work those heels with confidence! Confidence will automatically make one appear older then they actually are. Wear clothing that suits your age category- avoid graphic t-shirts and jeans and skater shoes, those will all make you appear much younger. T-shirts with brand names plastered across the chest such as "Aeropostale" "Abercrombie" "Hollister" will all make you appear younger. Try a dark wash skinny jean paired up with a flowy tunic from a store such as Forever 21 (cute and affordable!) and a great heel. Add accessories such as layered necklaces and a couple of chunky rings and you're set to go! Try playing around with your hair... add some product... mess around with it and see what you can come up with. Darker hair will usually make an individual look older so if your up for dying it, a dark chocolate brown would look lovely =] I hope I've helped and good luck!

  5. Well no one can help you without a picture.  I'm just saying, I'm a boy but I'm pretty good with makeup.  (I'm not g*y)

  6. I have the same problem.I'm 27 going on 28.Yet I'm mistaken for a school girl:)

  7. well.. usually eyeliner helps make a person look older.. hmm...it would be easier if you had a pic included though..
