Question:

Help! How can I get rid of these razor bumps?

This happened to me the other day, and I'm not quite sure what to do. I wanted to remove the hair on my upper lip so I delicately shaved it with a razor, and it was fine. I worried, though, that it would grow back very quickly and noticeably, so I wanted to use a hair removal product in addition to the shaving. What I had on hand was Veet. Veet is similar to Nair, (even though the directions on the back do say not to use it on your face, eheheh...) so I followed the instructions, applied it, and let it sit for the time I was supposed to. When it was time to remove the Veet with the sponge it comes with, it hurt tremendously. I noticed the reddening skin right away and after cleaning my face quickly put on lotion, since it's helped me avoid razor bumps etc on my legs. But the lotion burned like h**l, and after several tries with things that were supposed to "soothe" my skin, the only thing that seemed to ease the pain were ice cubes. Alas, my normally clear skin now has little red bumps encircling my mouth, and my makeup cannot conceal it as well as I'd like. It's been two days, the skin is still painful and bumpy, and I don't know what to do. Is there any sort of product someone can recommend or any advice at all? I'm clueless!
