How can I put these thoughts together? to make sense??

They always say don't point fingers until your own hands are clean.

You see? Mine are spotless.

Yes, I can judge your character and who you are.

But it would make no difference to how you really should be perceived.

Your physical appearence is only a disguise to your true being.

And sometimes not even you know what is behind that mask.

So go ahead, act innocent.

Go around preaching what you beleive and explain your "facinating" concepts.

But your only fooling yourself.

Because there is one concept no one will understand except one.

It's wisdom. And wisdom only comes from learning, scars.

The result of learning, is you will never be clean again.

Therefore, you will remain scarless.

My dear, one thing I've learned from every mark on myself is that you can't always trust what you see.

  1. I have no idea if this is what you were after or not.  Regardless, I gave it my best shot.

I've heard it said, don't point a finger until your own are clean,

mine are spotless as you can plainly see.

I can judge your character, for I know who, what you are,

without deference to how you really wish to be perceived.

Physical appearence is your cloak of disguise, not your true being,

sometimes not even you know what is behind the curtain.

Go ahead, act innocent, preach what you want to believe,

explain out loud your "facinating" concepts if you can.

You only fool yourself, with those rants of thin, trite words,

sadly, the one concept you always avoided, that of wisdom.

Wisdom is the result learning, from scars of life lived,

therefore, you will remain scarless, free of wisdom.

The one thing I have learned, from  marks now scared upon me,

is you cannot always trust, what others want you to believe.

  2. If u've gone thru the school of hard knocks, u'll find this poem especially riveting.

Break it down to bits and u'll get it:

They always say don't point fingers until your own hands are clean.

-- Don't blame others unless u yourself are blameless(usually in the context of being morally right)

    You see? Mine are spotless.

--u see, I write this coz I'm morally in good standing

Yes, I can judge your character and who you are.

But it would make no difference to how you really should be perceived.

--While others can perceive u to be such, it does not alter your true self(also giving the message that we should not worry abt what others think of us)

Your physical appearance is only a disguise to your true being.

And sometimes not even you know what is behind that mask.

    So go ahead, act innocent.

-- Your outward appearance is but a shadow of ur true self. Sometimes, even u do not know whats behind(cant totally explain the third line;it clicks in my head, but I cant rephrase it properly)

Go around preaching what you believe and explain your "fascinating" concepts.

    But your only fooling yourself.

--dont believe that what u think of as facts to actually be facts, i.e. Juz bcoz u think its true doesn't mean it is, so dont go shouting and forcing on others your beliefs.

The last few lines are very interesting and sums it up. I'll leave the rest of your homework for u to do. Good luck.
