Whenever i run like in a race or in a work out, i get tired and my head starts to bob around. its wierd because i dont feel like it is and even if i try to stop it, i cant. this has been a problem since i was in grade school. as a high schooler, how can i stop this. i have a relatively strong neck so i dont think that is the problem. do any of you have this issue or know of someone who does? how can i stop this because it wastes energy and it looks stupid

  1. This is your running gait/posture. Run slower, slow enough for you to control your head movements.

When your body gets used to running, your running gait also improves.

Be sure to look straight, and keep your chin up. Good luck!

  2. It sounds kinda odd, but try concentrating on your arms.  Forget about your legs and try keeping your arms going in a smooth motion and make sure they aren't crossing your body when you run.

  3. try keeping your head up so all you see is the finish line maybe see a doctor if it gets worse
