Help! How long before horrible Buspar side effects end?

Question

I have been on Buspar for panic attacks now for about four days. I have been on anti anxiety meds for about four years now. These are horrible! I am taking the lowest dose and feel so dizzy! Anyone taken this c**p? How long will I feel like this for?

i'm not sure how long the effects last.  i just know that that stuff made me so sick to my stomach during the first few days, i had to stop taking it.

i would call my doctor and see what he/she says.

i did. it really didnt do anything.i take triliptal afor my depression and anxiety. i practice coping skills and just try my best ot not live in fear and in control of this illness. yes you are going to have some setbacks but you can control them as well as let time take them away

Hello,

I started the same medication about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I also was dizzy and so nautious for the first week or so. It was a horrible feeling and it seemed as if the side affects were worse than an actual panic attack. It should go away with in one week. If it does not, contact your doctor. This medication may not work well for you. Mine is also a low dosage and it still made me sick.

However, I dont think this medication is doing the trick for me. I called the doctor yesterday to see if I can get somthing stronger. I am still getting panick attacks....

Try and be patient this week with your medicine..take naps if you can and if you have to, take time off from work until your medicine starts working properly because i know it is hard to function while feeling so horrible.
