  1. Things you will need:

1 scrub brush with steel bristles

1 gallon outdoor bleach (one with a pour spout preferably)

    1 gallon bucket

    rubber gloves

    1/2 gallon water

clothes/shoes that you don't mind (ruining) getting bleach on

Take 1/2 gallon of outdoor bleach and 1/2 gallon of water and mix them in your bucket. If your bucket doesn't have a spout, then use a measuring cup to pour the bleach solution over the affected area. Scrub the area with the wire brush. You may have to repeat a few times, but the bleach will kill the existing spores/fungi and remove any stains. The steel brush gets deep in the crevices of the cement to get out the stains. It may come back, but it will take longer if you kill off the fungus with bleach. Good luck!

    P.S.

This is a less expensive way to do it. You could use a power washer if you have one. I suggest using a wire brush to deep clean the area even if you use a power washer just to be sure all of it is gone!

  2. Mixture of bleach and water..make it pretty strong..will kill any kind of mildew..good for basements too...any damp place.

  3. rent a pressure washer.it is faster and a whole lot easier than scrubbing .

  4. Use something like Tilex or Chlorox mildew remover. Spray it on and let it set for about a half hour. Then hose it off. You may be able to use a pressure washer to rinse off the Tilex. But, use a wide spray instead of the pinpoint spray, or it will tear right through the carpet.

  5. I use a power washer.

Or try a solution of 4 parts water and 1 part chlorine bleach.
