I am desperate to clean the white grout in between the tiles in my shower so it goes back to white. Also the black mouldy looking marks as well. I have tried all sorts of things like shower power, jif, ajax etc. We want to sell our house later this year and need to get it ship shape.

  1. fill the gaps with bleaching powder in wet condition and leave for an hour or so.  Now brush with a tooth brush (hard) or any brush with metallic bristles.  You may use a sand paper that is used on wet surfaces and clear it in no time

  2. If you can get it reasonably clean with an amonia or bleach based cleaner, you can get a paint like whitener that comes in a bottle with a fine applicator and paint that on. If you were staying, I would recommend removing the existing grout with a special tool and regrouting - its the only real way to get it clean, but it may not be worth the effort if you are only going to be there short term.

Once you have it clean, get a squeegy so you can squeegy the shower dry after each use - it really does stop mould developing.

  3. Just fold the sandpaper into a crease, and work it back and forth along the grout line . If sandpaper doesn't work, you may have better results by applying a pencil eraser.

  4. Sponge on some bleach mixed with a little water and shower in the morning.

  5. an even mixture of baking soda and vinegar & a toothbrush.

    easy peasy

  6. I use Mr. Clean erasers to clean the grout on my tile floor.  It really works and it's SO easy.  After you get it clean, you might want to get a grout sealer.  I bought one at Lowe's that you spray on and lasts for 5 years.

  7. backin soda n vinger simple n natural

  8. USE A HARD TOOTHBRUSH AND DOMESTOS IT WORKED FOR ME AT MY PLACE.

  9. My girlfriend has a company that makes a domestic cleaner. It is called Pink Stuff.

  11. I think you live in Australia, if you do then take a trip to your Aldi store and but a product called,Power Force, Heavy Duty Cleaner, i had the same problem and it does a fantastic job.

Pour it on and you don't have to do a thing, i left it on for a couple of hours.
