  1. Go to ebay and look at some fenders that is  good electric guitars for you because your just starting

  2. since youre on a limited budget, definitely go with an acoustic guitar (no cables, amps etc to buy).  Also, it's my humble opinion that it makes a better guitarist out of you to start on acoustic rather than electric, though I'm sure many would disagree.  Anyhow, you should be able to find a good deal on musiciansfriend.com or at a local guitar center for one of those "starter packs."  They're usually by yamaha or something and they include a bunch of stuff that'll help get you started

One more piece of advice--save up your money and go to a few lessons.  it's easy to get discouraged when starting out and a guitar teacher can kind of show you how youre supposed to be sounding

  3. Here

    I recommend Jasmine by Takamine

  4. If you can only spend $100 Go to flea markets, goodwill etc.  You are definitely not going to find anything decent new for that price.

I did see an electric without amp for $75 at Goodwill.

I have seen acoustics from $25 at a garage sale to $150 at the store.

  5. If you're just starting out I'd get an acoustic.  But check out these sites for whichever you decide on.

    musiciansfriend.com  or music123.com

those are the sites I buy all my stuff from.  They have lots of user reviews for the guitars and have plenty of stuff in your price range.
