  1. i'm thinking just sandwiches for me. i have to go to class all day so i feel your pain.

  2. Pita chips and hummus (I like the roasted red pepper hummus)

  3. Well, since you probably won't have access to a microwave in the school cafeteria, that kind of limits what you can have.

One thing I always liked was a thermos of hot soup.  Tomato soup and a cheese sandwich.  Mmmm.

There are lots of things you can make the night before.

I guess it just depends on your personal taste and what you like to eat!

  4. that is the joy of the internet. Click on the link

  5. Main things:

    -(Insert lunchmeat here) sandwiches

    -Cheese sandwiches

-Bagel sandwiches (your favorite lunch meats with other stuff)

-Mini or regular bagels with cream cheese

-Toasted cheese sandwiches (with or without tomatoes)

-Meat roll-ups (Cheese and meat rolled up in lettuce)

    -Soup (in a thermos)

    -Pasta (in a thermos)

    -Leftovers

    Sides:

    -Grapes

    -Cheetos

    -Chips (Doritos, Fritos, Lays, etc.)

    -Bananas

    -Chocolate dipped strawberries

    -Crackers and cheese

    -Ritz cracker sandwiches

    -Rice (brown or white)

    -Cookies

    -Apples (maybe carmel?)

    -Pretzels

    Drinks:

    -Plain or flavored water

    -Juice pouches

    -Smoothies (in a thermos)

These are most of the things I bring in my lunch ^

  6. Chicken or turkey salad with crackers or celery sticks or carrot chips or sandwich. Make the salad the night before and through the rest together in the morning. Take a piece of fruit for desert.

Wrap sandwiches - spread cream cheese on a tortilla or use cheese slices + any meat and shredded veggies like shredded cabbage, carrots or broccoli slaw. One of my favorites is an Italian with slices or provolone, pepperoni, salami, diced (seeded) tomatoes and black olives, shredded romaine lettuce.

Take trail mix (store bought or home-made) with nuts, seeds, cereal, dried fruit, chocolate pieces, pretzels, just any combo you like.

Cold burrito - Make (or buy) the pre-seasoned chicken or beef fajita strips. Take those and some shredded cheese in a baggie. Roll a couple tortillas in plastic wrap. Take your salsa in a little cup. All of this can be done the night before. Build a burrito with it at school. You can use refried beans or bean dip instead of meat sometimes.

  7. Ok, aside from your ordinary sandwiches, like cheeze, chicken mayo etc - this is one of my favourite things

Rice salads, or couscous salads, the best part is is that you can make the whole thing the night before, and the next day, it's not squishly and limp, like normal salads...

Basically cook the rice or couscous and let it cool, and then add whatever you like, cherry tomatos, cheeze, olives, cucumber, onions, peppers, mushrooms etc, and whatever meat you feel like, if it's leftover chicken, or bacon, or even beef, it even tastes really good without meat too...then you can either add mayo, or salad dressing of your choice.  If you like spices or chillis you can chuck those in too, it's basically a nice mix of whatever is in the fridge, or you feel like!

This way, you can have something that tastes very different each time you make it!
