Help!!! I Need a name for a boat.?

We just bought a new boat and can't think of a name for it. Please help

some hints:

-ships and boats are considered femal, so don't give her a male name (the 'Pope Johannes' would still be a she..)

-if you want to name her after a living person (full name) ask the person for written permission. If the person is dead, ask the family.

-if you name it after your boy friend think twice. You might have to change the name...

-a boat with an evil name might behave so. (The Teufelsbraut (=devil's bride) through off her skipper in a storm, he drowned. The other crew members did not realize for half a day. The Devil's Bride sailed along just fine without her skipper..)

-if you want to make people believe you are an experienced boater, give her a name with a number

-dont make the name too long. You will use it in radio communication (even though 'Fred from Jupiter' might be funny - you don't want people to just laugh when you transmit a 'mayday')

-people who barely passed their Astronavigation exam prefer to name their boat after a star (the stranger the better)

-artificial names like Josybo (the names of 'your' kids John-Sylvie-Bob); that's really out

-what about the things you like, the names of Animee characters?

-what about your pet Maddie? That sound like a good one to me!

Name it after an obscure, preferably alien, vessel from Star Trek.

What kind of boat and use? Themes help. Songs are good. I once used Foxy Lady(Jimi Hendrix) .

Another good one....a play on words is Liquor Box....as in a boat full of booze. hehe
