The best that you could hope for is to get involved with a homeschool group, and you get to know the parents, then your child could talk to another child. Good Luck.

There is really no way to keep an Internet site safe from the bad guys.

If someone could figure out a way to do it though...

You could set up your own and only allow other kids (that you know) in by your invitation.

Well in the ECOT program in Ohio students can talk with other students privately. Only students and teachers can view the conversation.

There is a program and website called E-Pals. It links schools and classrooms from all of the world. You can also join as an individual person. Here is a link to the site:
