  1. Your landlord has a mortgage to pay...I don't understand how he managed to carry you this long.

  2. How? You have sec8 that covers most of your rent, it cant be that bad, why not get help from your kids dads...

  3. Your problems should never become your landlords problems.  You need to either catch up on rent or move out.  Your landlord is not a charity organization.

  4. In the county where you live, there should be a social services agency or child protective services who you can call for assistance.

Try the Salvation Army.  Try the Red Cross.

  5. Cut the internet and any other expenses you do not need. Thats a start. Sell your computer.

  6. I feel really sick about this. I was evicted a number of years ago and we had nowhere to go. You have children, so you should get to every help organisation you can think of to make your case. Also consult a lawyer immediately, they may be able to stall any eviction and help agree to work out a payment plan.

Don't wait for their pity, they have none.

    Good luck.

  7. Try contacting the Salvation Army or Catholic Charities.  Perhaps they can get you paid back the three months you are behind.

It is not fair that the owner of the apartment is without his income.  They have made their property available for low income people and should not have to suffer from not being paid.

  8. I agree with Bluejeenz, on section 8 most of your rent is paid by the government.  There may be a different reason for your eviction, like maybe your children are doing things your not aware of.  I know times are rough especially for a single mother of 5 but sorry, you had these children and you and your husband are responsible for caring for them.  Take the father or father's back to court and get the child support increased.
