  1. HINT: WHAT DOES ALL OF THAT MEAN

  2. Just curious are you attending GCU? This is this weeks DQ.

  3. Prokaryotes are cells without nucleus'. Nucleus' are center of the cell that is responsible for growth of the cell and reproduction of the cell. The nucleus also contains DNA and RNA. A Eukaryote is a cell that has a nucleus. The reason why prokaryotes produce more ATP then eukaryote s is because in eukaryotes, ATP is made in the mitochondria or chloroplasts, while in the prokaryotes, it is made in the  cytosol and cell wall. Besides the fact that they are made in different places, the cell wall in prokaryotes have a specialized function to allow them to produce ATP.  The specialized function in prokaryotes allows them to use a different electron donor besides oxygen. Eukaryotes use oxygen as their electron donor. The electron donor in prokaryotes allows for slightly more ATP. I hope that helped!

  4. prokaryotes produce more atp because they produce energy through an electron transport chain, not through the krebs cycle. Also, they do not have the amount of steady electrons as eukary.

  5. A prokaryote is a cell with no organelles, like a bacteria cell.  I don't know why they can produce more ATP!
