Okay...so 10th grade just started for me today...and during the school day I was feeling ok and happy. But then I came home and I felt really stressed and depressed...and I just started crying for no reason. Does anyone know why? Am I just overwhelmed? (sorry this is kind of a stupid question) This is just bothering me, I don't know whats wrong.

  1. well  just forget everything give yourself a little spa day do things you love.maybe you did that because  somehting bothing  you and you hiding it or you not happy in school today

  2. Hi, I wouldn't worry about it, you're probably just not used to the transition from summer vacation so abruptly to school. I would not be surprised if I cry when I get home from the first day of school either to be honest haha (and I'm a senior in HS). Everything will be okay.

Plus, the year goes by so fast that it's gonna be over in the blink of an eye and 11th grade will start. What I felt helped me most during that tough sophomore year was organization and time management. Seeing as it's your first day, you probably didn't get any homework. But when you do, those two things will be a savior!

But PLEASE enjoy your youth! You'll only be this carefree for another couple years or so, so take advantage of it! Best of luck and hope tomorrow is better for you =)

  3. Be happy that's all you have to worry about.

Trust me, as you can older..the stress builds more and more.

Your problems are SIMPLE.. Wait til you have BILLS.

  4. Calm down before you have a stroke lol

  5. I feel you completely I started school 3 weeks ago. When I got home from school I had realized how tough all my classes are: Advanced Physics, Engineering, Calculus, Chemistry and Spanish 1! I went home and chilled for a second did some texting and had a bowl of ice cream and felt a little better. Try IT!!!!

  6. Yeah hon, it sounds like you're overwhelmed. Just take it one day at a time. Try to think what bothers you most.  Is it the social situation, new friends? Guys? Or can it be the amount of schoolwork this year? Try to make a mental list of things that stress you out and once you break it down it might help you deal with it easier. Everything can add to stress, so just be aware of what they are.

Hope tomorrow is easier for you.

  7. I know how you feel I think the sadness and depression came from the transition from summer to school, it can really hurt emotionally and physically, just take it easy and do things you like to do and listen to your favorite songs or whatever and remember summer can't last forever and before you know it it will be summer again:) I start school really soon and I don't think it really kicked in yet that summer's over but I've been crying off and on a lot because of how much I'll miss the freedom and sunshine.
