Help! I believe in god but i am against organized religion, what am I?

I'm not against orgainzed religion. I just don't claim a denomination because they all have their good points and bad points and I don't like seperation. I think there should be one church of God! "Church of Love!"

You're still a non-Christian unless you have received Christ into your heart.  See Rev. 3:20 and John 1:12, Rom. 5:8, Eph. 2:8-10, II Cor. 5:17.  As for organized religion, not all Christians attend church.

Keep in mind, when you claim to not believe in "religion," that God gave the 10 Commandments and the Torah/Law to Moses on Mt. Sinai.  The Torah is definitely religion.  If you believe in God, then I suggest you learn what HE wants you to do with your life, rather than choosing your own way.

Well, If you believe in a God that makes you a Theist. Also, if you read any text, such as the bible/any other religious texts and take them to be true, then you are indeed a follower. I'd categorize you under  Theist, because you believe in a God, just not any organized religion.

I know what you mean. I struggle with alot of things that come out or organized religion and the people that are apart of it. I choose to have a one on one relationship with Jesus. He loves me for who I am, for the mistakes I make and I need not get confused about the opions of others. It's hard to feel like you fit in, I know. But, just remember, we are all God's people. He loves you and me just as much as we are special in His eyes. We shouldn't care about what others are doing, saying or judging, read the Word and hear what the ONLY person who really matters needs you to know. God Bless and I love your Avatar! Peace!

Most of my wife's family is like you.  I am of the Atheist persuasion.  Many people will wrongly tell you that you are agnostic, but really you are perfect the way you are (unlabeled, I mean).

I am a Christian, And i hate religion. I do not think the church should take money from their church members and pocket their money. Jesus did not own anything. The pastors have so much money where does it come from? I have a personal relationship with God. I do not believe church is what makes a person saved that would be God himself. Most people say, if you do not go to church you are going to h**l. Most people do not understand church is only for two reasons. One reason is to fellowship with one another the other is to hear the word of God. Millions of people go to church, and millions of people have no idea what its like to have a personal relationship with God.  This is not their fault, they are taught this programed is more of the word that i was looking for.

Religion has multiple meanings. (1)  You can be a religious person - one who has a belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.  (2)  A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship.
