Help I can't beat this stupid boss!!?

Question

On FF-X the first boss in Mushroom Rock I can't beat him no matter what I do and I don't have Lulu's FirA. All my characters' hp are 600 or below.

Do I need to restart the game and follow through the walkthrough to make sure I get enough HP Spheres or something? Suggestions? Help please.

No you can do fights around and your character will be more stronger and then go for the boss, i hope you have a save before the boss so you can continue from there.

I think you mean sinspawn or whatever.. okay .. hmm maybe you're not ready yet but try this..

I recommend starting with Auron, Lulu, and Tidus.

have Tidus cast Haste on both characters then use Lulu thinder to attack the body ...you don't need Fira..and have Auron take the arms .. if you sense the boss is gonna use venom .. just hit it's head .. it will save and continue on hitting the body by Auron and Lulu .. you can switch Tidus and use wakka to hit the head so Lulu wold take the Body on .. also after destroying the arms it would be good idea to use Yuna's summons . I hope it's the monster you meant.
