Trying to delete Tiger Woods PGA tour 2008. I click advanced search and it turns up about 15 files that have no icons. Just a white blank icon.

I highlight them and try to delete but I get this msg. This is no longer located in <(percentsymbol)3 NULL:OpText/. Verify the item's location and try again

  1. If you've uninstalled it, your indexed files may be out of date, so the search is showing things that aren't there any more. Rebuild your indexed locations (Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Indexing Options > Advanced (Button) > Rebuild (Button)) If it still shows up, go to the actual file location (instead of through search) and try to delete it from there. Another option is to use unlocker to attempt to delete it: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/. Good luck!

  2. you need to unistal it,

    you can delete a program

you can only delete files not programs

  3. Not sure whether this works, but I had a problem deleting files in Vista too when I used the OS too, and this worked.

Share the files or folder you want to erase on your home network, access it from a different computer/laptop and try to delete the files via the other computer. Worked for me, hope it works for you too.
