Question:

Help! I can't stop sneezing?

I live in Florida and have had no airborne allergies that ever presented themselves, but I recently spent the summer in Virginia, and have since returned home. Within a few days of returning home, I began to really sneeze, not as bad as some posts I've read where people are just sneezing rapidly and constantly, but fairly frequently, usually a few in a row. I don't feel sick in any way except for a slight increase of mucus in my nose, which I believe is just there because I've sneezed it all up (blegh). This has gone on for about 2 weeks, and I'm trying to figure out the cause. Does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps I got used to Virginia and now there's some allergen in the house that I lost resistance to or something in that vein? Thanks!

And a side note, if it makes any difference, I'm 15.

  1. Look around for a cotton wood tree in your neighborhood.  Right now the cotton stuff is blowing off the trees.  They"re little white feathery things that float in the air.

  2. Well, It may just be your lucky....Though maybe it could be something you brought home from Virgina(Since that is where it started)....Just wash you clothes, take a shower, and if that doesint help it may be another object you have around the house.

Then again sneezing is a symptom of and irratent, ether chemical or bacterial....Chemical it may be an object, if it is bacterial, then you may be a little cold or something...maybe, I do not like saying "Take dope" Though whatever helps congested noses.

  3. it is an allergy, that's for sure. you can try cleaning your house, washing your clothes, avoid contact with animals and see if there are new plants or trees nearby. whatever the reason, you can try taking loratadine in order to relieve the symptoms.

  4. maybe the hurricanes and winds blew chemicals all over and contaminated your house. Have to clean up....
