Help I cant close my eyes?!?

Ok, I know this a weird question but it seems like when Im going to sleep I have to strain to close my eyes. My mom has noticed my eye open when im sleeping sometimes. I sort of have dark circles under my eyes and I think this is the cause of it. Can anyone help me out?

I would bring the issue up at your yearly optometrical exam. It may not be a big deal; then again it could possibly be a problem with the facial nerve, the nerve that innervates the orbicularis oculi (the eyelid-closing muscle).

Do you have any trouble blinking? Are your eyes very dry in the morning?

Happens to me ever so often! It appears when I'm aware of it doesn't go away. Don't worry, the body has a way of taking over after awhile.

hey moron, look at ANYONE sleep, most ppls eyes are cracked a little when they sleep...

Ooh, I would say go see a doctor. It could be serious, then again maybe not. You never know until you get some guidance on the matter.

one of my friends sleeps with their eyes open at times...it was a really scary sight once when I seen her sleep, looked like she was dead!
