Help... I don't know what to do!!!?

Question

so i started using DVD+R's to burn my home movies and now they start glitching and freezing up along with a extremely loud static shock sound that goes along with the glitch. is it because i'm using DVD+R's instead or DVD-R's? cause i've only had the problem since not using DVD-R's.

get an external harddrive. I go to film school, thats what we use

   Multi layer DVD+R can allow extra capacity per disc than DVD-R  I think thats the only difference.

It could be your video player or the media.

I would suggest copying the bad DVD to another DVD (not the same media/brand) and see if the problem disappears.

It could be that you are using a bad brand of DVD+R, and that the media is deterorating
