I am 13 years old and I am going in to 7th grade but I feel very very uncomfortable in my own skin. I have huge over bite which I am getting braces for soon but I still hate them. I also have acne all over my face what product is the best for acne? I have a very nice slim body which i think is my one and only best feature. I would also like help for the best makeup and clothing. My style in chic and sorta preppy I guess. When I go back to school I want guys to stop and stare for good reasons not that I am ugly. Any help please!?!?!

  1. um go to the dermatologist

  2. For your face I recommend clean and clear products. Make I would by from E.L.F It is also a vary helpful makeup tip site, for clothes I would but from Mandee, wet seal or pink ice.

  3. ignore any answers that you get saying, "buy proactive..." proactive is a joke. it causes more breakouts becasuse its so bad with chemicals. you dont need to spent like hundredds of dollars on skin care when its the excact same thing as cheap ones that work better. clean and clear advantage acne kit is absolutley excellent. i got it like 5 days ago and my skin has went from pimply, red, and uneven to clear skin. its amazing stuff. also, if you buy the advantage kit buy the morning burst cleanseras well. (its orange.) this is what i use.

i wasted like 500 dollars merle norman, dead sea, and proactive c**p. its never worked as fast and effective as clean and clear. i love the stuff. in tests, studies showed that 100% of the women saw better skin within 24 hours of using clean and clear.

  4. I don't care how cute or skinny you are, at 13 no girl feels comfortable int their own skin. Take it from me, your acne and your features probably aren't as bad as you think they are.

For acne-prone skin, which is normal at your age, use a gentle cleanser. Try not to irritate your skin. It is even better to not use a wash cloth or anything like that because it carries bacteria and irritates your skin. Use a light moisturizer and spot treat acne with benzoyl peroxide.

  5. i would suggest proactiv or clean and clear

    stridex pads also work great

trust me, that alone will make you feel more confident

as for a slim body, dont do anything extreme or dangerous

just watch what you eat, limit yourself to maybe one dessert-like think per day and dont eat just for the sake of eating

clothes and makeup-cant really say as i dont really wear makeup and i have a uniform so, no clothes to pick out

just remember youre not alone-everyone at that age feels this way, even if they dont show it

  6. well do what you think is gona make you feel pretty im very unconfortable with myself too sometimes

anyone if you want answer mine

  7. I never got all the creams and washes for acne. It only takes something that most people have in their house. About 2 years ago i had horrible acne. All over my face. I tried all the over the counter products and even a couple ones my dermotologist perscribed and nothing helped. Once i was looking through my bathrrom drawer and i took out the neosporine. I then got an idea. Taht night i wased my face with a regular face wash. Then i took a washcloth and ran it under hot water. Then press it to your face. This opens your pores. Then rub the neosporine in your affected areas. In about 3 weeks my ance was almost completely gone. I had a few black heads and i still have some. But it worked so well. For makeup get a nice brown eyeliner and make a thin line on your top lid. Then a line in your inner rims. Take a gold shadow and brush it on your top lid and in the corner of your eye (the side near your nose) making a "v" shape. Then using a black mascara and wiggle  the brush from roots to tips on your upper lashes. Then use the end of the brush for your bottom lashes. Then i light pink or peach lip gloss. For clothes, skinny jeans, flats, and tunics. Then flares and t shirts. Long necklaces and big or tiny earrings. Hope it helps! And i know how you feel!

  8. for your face try clean and clear products because that's what helped me get through those years and also, you can buy them at the drugstore but if that doesn't work go to the dermatologist. Besides, many thirteen year olds have acne and it's just part of life. As for your style, just wear what you like. The worst thing you can do is try to be something you're not. As long as you show people that you're confident in yourself, not much else matters. trust me

  9. At 13 years old everyone is trying to find out who they are and are worried about self-image. For your acne you should try a VERY gentle cleanser and if that doesn't work, see a dermatologist to discuss what would be the best thing to do for your type of acne. The overbite shouldn't be a problem since you are having that corrected, don't apply too much makeup because you don't WANT to look like you are trying to hide something. Keep it natural and soft, for your style try forever 21 or pacsun. Don't focus on guys too much or worry about what others think about you, just be yourself and you'll be fine.

  10. first, stop obsessing over what you think are imperfections- if u continue looking at ur imperfections, u'll never see the good stuff!  once u start accepting urself, u'll feel a WHOLE lot better, believe me- i went through the same feeling and finally realized i was great with who i was!

but it is always nice to feel better and like ur taking care of urself!  for acne, proactive helps (if u have the money for it every month) but i found for me, i sort of became a little "immune" to it after a while

st. ives acne scrub works well for a cheaper price

but remember, no matter what you do, love urself for who you are :D

  11. Clean&Clear is really good for acne, it cleared up mine alot. If it's severe see a dermatologist about an antibiotic like minocycline, or Accutane.  And if you drink alot of milk it could be making it worse. Try drinking water, soy milk, fruit juice, etc.

  12. Anything more than eyeliner and lipgloss is too much for a 13 year old. And at 13 honey don't go boy fishing, you need to focus on school. ;)

  13. well i know how you feel about your teeth as i have the same trouble although i have braces now .. it does make you feel uncomfortable when you smile but as your getting a brace that problem will be solved :)  clean and clear is really good for your skin so try that. you could also try a new look like styling your hair more. Hope this helps! x
