This morning my dad found a really tiny white egg, smaller than a dime, inside an unused garage shack. When I looked inside the egg, I noticed that it had a bluish eye, some kind of a body attached to the eye, blood vessels, and something long that I assume is the tail. I know for sure that developing birds come with this eye, but I am unsure about lizards. I really need to know ASAP because this could be a bird egg and I am mistaken, because right now I think it is a lizard egg and I have placed it outside since it is really hot outside so it can develop. If it is a bird egg then I need to take it inside and put it under some kind of incubator. I have tons and tons of experience with birds, but absolutely no experience with lizards, and I am unsure on what I should do about the egg. Right now I am planning to hatch the egg and then release it. If it is a lizard. Oh yeah, I live in Dallas, TX. That might help with the identification of what kind of egg it is.
