Help!! I gave my plant to much sunlight?

Somebody told me my plant needed sun so i set it outside and the leaves turned brn what do i do!!!!

If the leaves have already turned brown, they are beyond saving, the leaves have been burnt.  Most likely it received direct evening sun.  Morning sun is preferred for most plants.  Cut off the dead leaves and put it in a shady spot or move it back indoors.  What kind of plant is it?
