So I've been having bad pains near the top of my left arm for the past 2 days. It hurts whenever I move it and the pain only got worse the next day! I can't take it anymore, how can I get rid of it?

  1. You could put ice on it. Use painkillers, see your doctor. Maybe you slept on it wrong.

  2. if you haven't done any straining of anything to injure any muscles or tendons in your arm, i would seriously get that checked out asap. pain in the left arm is often the earliest symptom of an oncoming heart attack.

if you have done something that could have strained it, give your doctor a ring tomorrow morning and see if you can swing through real quick.

    good luck!

edit:  haha, if you're only 14 that's prooobably not the case. if you're physically active or anything you could have sprained it or pulled a muscle. you may be sleeping on it wrong, that's always a possibility. take some advil and drink plenty of water, that'll help keep any swelling down.

if it doesn't get better in a day or two, or it gets worse tomorrow and it's driving you mad, go to your doc. they're the only one who will be able to give you a definite answer.
