Help! I have a virus?

i have a trojan virus called capico.dll. AVG gets rid of it but it comes every time i reboot my comp. I have both firefox and internet explorer but i think its coming through IE. Even when I don't pull up IE and use firefox its still there. Please tell me how to get rid of this. Thanks.

  1. capico.dll. - malware linked to trojan like Vundo or Generic9.AATD.

    Here we go run:

    Then run:

    If you still have capico.dll, do the following:

    1 update AVG

    2. turn off system restore

    3. boot in safe mode

    4. do a full set of scans

    5. re boot if clean turn on system restore.

  3. I'm not a virus expert and I don't have AVG. I use Avast. I'm not going to get into a discussion about which one is better but, if AVG gives you the location of the file, then try to find it and delete it. HOPE THAT HELPS! Watch what you download! If you are using limewire get limewire pro!
