  1. I have been keeping honey bees for several years now and i feel pretty confident about answering this one. Some form of benidryl or antihistamine will help with the itching and possibly the swelling if taken soon after the sting. You will receive lots of input about thinngs like meat tendorizer, tobacco, baking soda an other topical treatments. they are all just wives tales. I have tried and none seam to work. the venom of a wasp is different than that of a honey bee. a honey bees venom is an irritant used to defend the hive while a wasps venom is used to kill its prey. My best advice is to not rub or scratch and let it run its course. it is normal for it to be sore for a coupel of days

I have had stings itch and be sore for as little as a few minuts or as long as a weak

  2. call ur poison control center, or just go to the doctors or u can rub alcohol on it.

  3. Use meat tenderizer on the sting if you have any.  The venom is protein based.  We have draw-save most people don't keep any of that on hand though.  If you start to have an allergic reaction take an antihistamine.

  4. Get a long pipe odf smaller diameter. attached it with long stick. Insert some powder DDT or anti insect powder and from the other end of the pipe blow with your mouth the powder on the hive of bees or whatever. and I hope they will never come again.

  5. Cut open an onion and place a slice over the sting.

  6. If you can't tell if the stinger is out or not take a credit card or anything that has an edge to it and rub it across the sting that usually pops the stinger out. the meat tenderizer while help decrease the pain. I would take some ibuprofen and some benadryl and put ice on it that should help. But if you have any shortness of breath or troubles swallowing go to the ER immediately. I'm not the best on what to do to get rid of the hive sorry.
