Help I have broken part of my 1967 omc intermediate housing

Question

Does anyone know how to repair a broken intermediate housing without having to buy another one?

also does anyone know if this is cast aluminum or????

it's on a 1967 omc 120hp

Yes it is Alum.  Yoget this welded, in most cases.  There are used parts dplaces that might have a 40 year old drive laying around and there isn't much demand, so they might give you a fair price.  Also check at local marinas and dealers, they also have stuff laying around. Good Luck!!!!

You can't weld it it so old that the aluminum is not good for welding> web search OMC parts>If the exhaust is the issue you can plug it. And run the exhaust threw the transom > Bit noise but works>
