For about two weeks the skin on either side of my chin up to my lips have been really dry, like not possible to make it go away with a scrub. It's almost like it scabs over, I tried a natural moisturizer for awhile but now I use Cetaphil, and apply more to the dry areas but it doesn't seem to be working too well.

Any ideas?

  1. try face lotion

  2. use clinique dramatically different lotion. it is the BEST and you can get it oil-free or with oil in it. also, try not washing your face too much because that can dry up your skin too. hope this helped!!

  3. Lotion.

  4. Two ideas, both from the pharmacy or Walmart.

First put castor oil on at night. Castor oil will soak in and heal the skin from below.

After the skin is healed, use some glycerin every night. Glycerin is a power-moisturizer. When you apply the glycerin, it will feel warm on your skin. That is becasue it is drawing moisture to the surface. Glycerin lasts 48 hours and will water-proof the skin. Use it on your hands also.

  5. cover it in vaseline, make sure its saturated into the skin, apply it when you sleep.

  6. Try exfoliation, with lemon and sugar. Mix equal parts of lemon juice and sugar in a bowl and apply it to your face, let it dry. Afterwards put on some really good moisturizer.

  7. COCO butter buy it from the drugstore or zellers

  8. Using warm water wet a rag and apply to skin till the skin  is moistened well. (do this 2 times a day)

Then once air dried, apply unscented moisterizer or lotion to the skin, also twice a day. (after each water treatment)

  9. try aloevera 3 times a day
